Mission Statement

The River Basin Blues Society is a comprehensive resource for all River Basin Area blues fans, musicians and venue owners in Indiana, Kentucky and Illinois "tri-state area" by providing a forum to share information, knowledge and appreciation of The River Basin Blues Society is a group of Blues and Music lovers, who want to promote our local musicians and bring in exciting talent from other areas to help our local businesses. We also want to get our younger musicians involved by holding workshops and jams so they can work with and learn from the “Masters”. Everyone is welcome and we encourage you to get behind this organization and help make some “New” Blues History in our area. You have Delta Blues, Piedmont Blues, Texas Blues, Chicago Blues, and many more, so why not Basin Blues??? We have a huge amount of talent in the “Basin” (Illinois, Kentucky, and Indiana). We would like to let the rest of the world know about them. We are incorporated . We are an affiliate of The Blues Foundation and will be sending someone to the International Blues Competition in Memphis, Tennessee. Come Join the Fun
